Boring for the thrill seeker

Was told a 20-25 minute wait when checking in & 1.5 (maybe 2) hrs later finally went. Must have been at a bad time because they allowed ALL the minors cut in front of everyone because they do not allow minors on the top floor after a certain time, so plan accordingly. (Plus you are suppose to wait for a txt alert advising it is your time to get in line for the ride & several ppl were cutting ahead, so there's that also). Unfortunately we didn't know this until it was too late, very unhappy about that.
So the ride is like 10 seconds to the lower second tower & then another 15 seconds to go backwards to base; basic experience for the thrill seekers, but everyone who got off had a smile on their face. I bought this deal off Groupon, glad I didn't pay full price, I don't feel like it was worth the Groupon price either personally. It's an experience, but don't expect too much from it. Nice view from the side of the strip though...

Our purchase was for zip lining and we were booked for the night of the terrible shootings and were not able to get to the Rio. There is a zero refund policy so we took a full loss ☹️

I purchased two tickets originally, then called back and purchased another ticket before we left for Vegas. The day we arrived to ride the zip line, I couldn't pull up the e-mail confirmation on my phone and even though the staff was able to pull up all sorts of other information from my recent purchase, they wouldn't honor the purchase of the third ticket. I had to purchase another ticket that day in order for my daughter to be able to ride. I would like my money back on that third ticket.

The part that I didn't understand was the VOODOO Rep had none of our reservation information from Vegas.com.
So, during our scheduled time I had to call vegas.com. this was such an inconvenience, as our appt. Was at a specific time.

Can't really give much a of "review" since it's just a zip-line. You strap in, and off you go. It's fun, a little exhilarating, only about a 50 second ride, and not as scary as you might think. The seat is secure, and it was windy as heck up there for my ride. Here's my problem, they won't let you take your GoPro, and they charge more than the price of the attraction itself, for their video of it. What??? The guys at the Strat can get away with that for the Skyjump, but sorry guys, your attraction just doesn't demand that kind of attention. My recommendation is that there are better things to do while in Vegas, and you will get more bang for your buck.
