Best Ladies Nights
Vegas is a lot of things. It’s a family destination, a gambler’s paradise and also a hotspot for ladies to get their fun on. With the bright lights and the 24-hour mentality, ladies can always find a party. And some places even offer special deals for the fairer sex. While some might like to debate the legality and equality of ladies nights, and others might point out that deals are merely discounts for all women have to put up with in clubs, we choose to leave all that to the lawyers and instead list the loveliest ladies nights Las Vegas can lay out alliteratively.
Monday: Rockhouse
Vibe: Hair metal frontman with his shirt off
Ladies, start the week off right by rocking out all night. Or just enjoy cheap drinks and watch your friends rock out way too hard after the third round. Rockhouse has the total party atmosphere and sweet location at the Venetian that you need to make your Monday flawless. And there’s plenty of bar space and seating so that one friend (you know who) can jump on something other than the cute bartender.
Tuesday: Hyde Bellagio
Vibe: Male model who can quote “The Notebook”
It’s not really promoted as a ladies night, but every Tuesday Hyde hosts Lost Angels, an industry night that brings the style of the Los Angeles Club scene to Las Vegas. For ladies with class and culture who know the industry and want the ins, Lost Angels is the place to be on Tuesdays. Get yourself a VIP experience, take in the mist of the Bellagio Fountains, and feel like a true cultural queen— before that one friend (you know who) ruins it by trying to jump into the lake.
Wednesday: Blue Martini
Vibe: The guy next door doing yard work in cutoff jean shorts
For a softer ladies night away from the Strip, Blue Martini at Town Square is the place to go. So get your drink on and have a nice daytime buzz going before you stroll around Town Square and do some shopping at fine stores like Gameworks and Guitar Center — take that, gender stereotypes. Blue Martini also has live entertainment nightly so that one friend (you know who) will have something to sing along to way too loudly.
Thursday: A bunch of places with various degrees of countryness
Vibe: Mechanical bull on vibrate mode
PBR Rock Bar celebrates the ladies on Thursdays. What does this places have that others don't? Mechanical bulls! And we all know that nothing says ladies night like straddling a machine that… Sorry. We got distracted for a second. If you’re a cowgirl with a mighty thirst or you just want to watch that one friend (you know who) get thrown off of a mechanical bull, give this spot a shot.
Friday: McFadden’s
Vibe: Any guy with an Irish accent
They call it “Lucky Ladies Night” for reasons that we won’t delve too deep into. We’ll just trust that it’s some luck of the Irish thing. But you’ll definitely feel lucky with outdoor spaces overlooking Town Square. McFadden’s is a pub where great food and good times mix. Just keep an eye on that one friend (you know who). The place is so big you might lose her.
Saturday: Foundation Room
Vibe: Somber guitarist who just needs to be loved
Saturdays (and Fridays too) at Foundation Room are all about the Bubbles for Beauties. The beautiful venue atop Mandalay Bay offers hosted champagne and vodka cocktails for the ladies. They have outstanding DJs and dance space, as well as plenty of seating and private rooms for a more intimate evening. It’s such a smooth and sophisticated spot that there’s not a lot you’ll have to worry about from that one friend (you know who). Just be sure she dresses appropriately. It’s Foundation Room not Miley Cyrus’ Halloween party.
Sunday: FreeZone
Vibe: A shampoo commercial filmed at Lilith Fair
This is the night for ladies who love ladies — or for any straight girls who want to get away from the straight men and maybe get an ego boost from being hit on by a stud. FreeZone, the classic Vegas gay bar, has go-go girls and beer busts. And, because it’s FreeZone, they have great drink prices and an accepting atmosphere on top of the special deals. If you’ve been shot down by straight girls every other night of the week, head to FreeZone on Sundays. And if you’re that one friend (you know who you are), just be yourself and cut loose. Don’t let nobody tame you, babe.
