Las Vegas Parking Garages
Vegas has the biggest and the most parking garages in the world. Actually, we don't know if that statement is true. Neither of these categories appears in the Guinness World Records. But it sure feels like it could be true. Unfortunately, everything comes at a price. That's why we feel it's our duty to give you the 4-1-1 on free Vegas parking.
For anyone who's ever struggled to find parking in cities like San Francisco, Chicago and New York (and that's everyone, by the way), parking garages in Las Vegas will feel like a godsend. We kid you not. Parking garages here are so abundant they feel like a gift from the saint who watches over motorized vehicles.
Many hotels, shopping centers and attractions on the Strip offer giant self-parking garages. In downtown, there are lots of huge self-parking garages too. However, it's become more common to pay to park in them, unless you're staying at or patronizing the resort.
One last thing to know about parking garages in Vegas: Sometimes you'll discover a security person manning the entrance. Usually they'll wave you right through. But don't be surprised if you are asked to roll down your window (Smile for the camera!), show ID or open your trunk. That happens. And on busy weekends or holidays, you may have to wait in line before you can drive in.
Here are all the logistics you need to know for accessing the parking garages in Vegas.

Description: The garage is unusual in that when you enter, it actually descends to get to each floor level, rather than take you up like the other parking garages. If you're worried that you might have trouble finding your car later, park by the set of escalators. There are three different elevator entrances to the casino as well as a set of escalators located on each floor. There are also electric signs on each level telling you how many parking spaces are available on that level. Because there are multiple casino elevator entrances, it can get difficult to find your car. The driveways in the parking garage can get confusing. The turns are also pretty tight.
