Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything was great ,except the room location. Long walk to room. Everything was great. The event tickets were a little difficult to locate on the web page.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not recommend MGM Vegas Bathroom was still dirty when we checked in. Hair in the sink, in the tub and stuck to the shower walls. It was disgusting. After asking two different cleaning ladies to help so we could take a shower, ended up having to call guest services. This proved harder than necessary as the phone was broken and only worked sporadically if you put it on speaker. Had to ask 3 different times for a working phone before it was finally replaced the next day. About an hour after we checked in someone finally came and properly cleaned the bathroom so we could at least shower. The overhead bathroom light was burned out. There was zero ventilation in the bathroom, so anytime someone showered, the bathroom turned into a stifling sauna. They had trouble unlocking the mini bar, finally found someone who was able to unlock it after about an hour. For the price, expected to have a coffee maker, microwave and fridge in the room. The room had none of those and the only way to get coffee in the morning was to go 16 stories down to the lobby and wait 45 minutes in the Starbucks line. Also was told by the cleaning lady if I put my protein shake in the mini fridge to keep it cold we’d be charged $50, even though there was no regular fridge. Very disappointed with the customer service and the overall experience. Would not stay there again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hotel put Profits over comfort. Don't use Mobile check in if you have more than one room and want to be in the same zip code. They put us in different towers. Had to go front desk to have them change it. Surprised they didn't try to charge me. Once we get to the room... everything you touch could potentially charge you. I understand if this were 1 star hotel. Signs everywhere, you grab bottle of water, $50 min. Oh nice! There is a minii fridge, we could just buy water and beer and leave in there to keep cool, not so fast! That's the mini bar where they charge you, you can get a fridge to use for personal use, FOR a charge. Go to bathroom, reusable/refillable soap and lotion. If it ends up missing, $25 charge each I get it, don't take stuff that's not yours, but didn't know I checked into the Red carpet Inn. Bathtub was slow draining, so I got a shower along with a bath, along with the bathroom sink being the same and the fixture wasn't fully operational with the drain plug. Bed was sloped to center, backs hurt in the morning. Other room was missing a remote, didn't need one because we didn't use TV, but was afraid to be charged. Not a problem that 2 phone calls and a visit to the front desk couldn't resolve. Great service huh? Resort fee, hmmm almost 300 extra at end of stay. That's with most hotels, not a knock to just MGM Grand but all. It's just basically free Wi-Fi, since it's winter and pools were closed. Never again will I stay at this place. If MGM is like this at other properties, I won't stay there either. Get the mini bar out and let us have use of the fridge for the charge of the room or resort fee. Absurd. I was afraid of fees on top when I check out. Did I bump the water or any malfunction in their fridge? I didn't even get close it it. Very uncomfortable stay with being worried over having to call dispute charges and not so clean rooms, defective bed and fixtures . There was a curly hair by where I put my toothbrush down in bathroom on first night. It wasn't ours by the looks of it. Bought a new toothbrush after that No thanks to MGM Grand

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would stay here again! The location was great, and the rooms were nice and large. The only drawback was the fact that there was no refrigerator in the room.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lack of Customer Service Was reprimanded like a child by the service attendant about using the fridge - did not take anything out of the fridge. She was clearly irritated and annoyed. Can't remember the last time I opened a fridge to look for a note - because it's never happened!! Tried to book an additional night but was told we may not get the same room - would have to check out for the day and hang around. As if. Too difficult - checked out and went elsewhere. Went to the Mansion (empty) to sit for a drink and study as it was completely empty. Ignored by the bartender who kept himself busy doing anything but make eye contact with his ONE customer. Ordered a coffee and got tea. With the number of hotel rooms available in Las Vegas, highly unlikely to stay here again unless some incredible deal were to arise. I doubt I'll be missed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Las Vegas NFR As a gift from our son and daughter-in-law, we traveled to Vegas for the NFR. We were treated very well and felt welcomed from the beginning. We also enjoyed dinner at Luchini’s and a Cirque de Soleil Shiw right at the hotel. The gal from Romania at the Concierge Desk was the best!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from hotel is huge with little to no information on how to get around There was no information and the welcome channel was useless as the tv only worked sporadically The room had a slight odor but it was better than the smell of smoke and cigars from the 'non smoking' casino. there were ashtrays all over the casino so I guess the term non smoking was just a suggestion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sad Monster hotel that Nickels and Dimes. No TV after 3 hotel staff. Ads in the bathroom. No frig. No TV remote. Called, first remote didn't work, second remote didn't work, house engineer and TV didn't work. Mini fridge charge for personal items. Ads in the bathroom for shampoo and body wash. For such a large hotel it was kind of sad and pathetic. Room 15 minute walk from front desk on carpet with a rolling suitcase. Uber 15 minutes the other direction. Staff doesn't know where anything is and are arrogant. Calzone was rubbery crust with little filling. This hotel skimps and nickel and dimes on everything. All in all an unwelcoming place. Vegas sham!!
